SAMPLING OF AVAILABLE LEADERSHIP TRAINING TOPICS

LEADERS OF JUSTICE

Leadership is not about position or title but the desire to make a significant difference in the lives of others, systems, and cultures. The internal motivation of justice—power used for good—is foundational to successful and impactful leadership. Justice will defend and honor. Simply, it will do what is right when confronted with the harsh opposing realities in our spheres of influence.

VALIDATION QUOTIENT (VQ)

Validation Quotient exemplifies the attributes that unleash personal leadership value, generate it in others, and positively transform culture. It is essential that a leader is able to see and celebrate who they are. Only then can they clearly define and walk in ownership of their unique purpose. This is what causes an individual to acknowledge and walk in the attributes that move them to positively impact their world.

Validation Quotient lays a foundation to validate and empower others as well as bring valuable transformation to systems and cultures. It is able to authorize worth, place value upon the human soul, and produce the courage to fulfill individual purpose. Science affirms the importance of these concepts confirming that our mind-brain is wired for love and goodness. True value is expressed intrinsically and extrinsically as it builds value in self and others.

HIGHER LIVING LEADERS

There is a new breed of emotionally intelligent influencers emerging—Higher Living Leaders! They possess “higher thinking” as they continue to develop their minds through positive choices as well as proper management of their thoughts, attitudes, and emotions. They take “higher responsibility” through systemic investment into people, systems and culture. They live and serve a “higher cause” demonstrating a sincere and genuine internal motivation for a cause greater than self.

HIGHER THINKING

Higher Thinking is an ability to assess our thoughts, emotions, attitudes, actions and reactions, which are keys in making healthy decisions both personally and professionally. The ability to properly self-assess provides the leader with the aptitude to define personal purpose, strengths, passions, and values-motivated behaviors. This also offers the imperative lens to see the possible saboteurs that could derail success.

The brain is constantly changing—for good or bad—based upon our internal thought and emotional supervision. Higher Thinking leaders can rewrite the instructions of the brain to produce a high-quality life. This is a revolutionary tool to understand the mind-brain’s process of thought and the amazing ability an individual has to develop healthy memory, make health-giving choices as well as properly manage attitude and emotion.

Additional topics would be Emotional Hijacking along with Making the Workplace a Safe Place.

For the educational system: incorporating the areas that deal with love, relationship, sex, trust, etc. in order to educate young people on these topics from a neuroscience perspective along with the ability they possess for self-governance.

VALUES-MOTIVATED BEHAVIOR

We are governed by our own standard of values. Values determine what is important to us and worthy of our investment. They are our personal system of beliefs that construct choices and are ultimately revealed in the results that we acquire. Because of this, what we do trumps what we say because our actions are a visible demonstration of what we truly value.

It is important for us that we not only understand our own values, but the values of others in order to partner together effectively and have an essential understanding for conflict resolution.

“What you value underlies all of your decisions and actions.  It may or may not be a conscious choice, but it determines your future and how your life will impact society.”  Dr. Melodye Hilton

Core Values Index and/or Values Profiling Systems work perfectly with this topic.

HIGHER RESPONSIBILITY

The more influence I have the more responsibility I must assume. As we climb the ladder of success we are not positioned to be catered to, but are obliged to lead and serve for the good of the whole. We throw off the luxury of excuses—leaving me in powerless frustration—for a life of self-leadership and mature “response-to-my-ability.”

HIGHER CAUSE

When I give of myself and lead others in a greater cause it builds a culture of motivation as the whole is united and empowered. When we are motivated by a worthwhile cause it holds us steady to our course even when life is not fair. Therefore, we must be those who are resilient in the face of adversity and recognize that conflict can be a catalyst for positive change.

When I make appropriate adjustments to continue to advance myself, others, and my organization I discover a treasure of hidden potential and character-driven leadership that awakens courage. “I must make a conscious choice to determine my course of action and not stop until it is accomplished no matter my fear, limitations, or the obstacles I face. Thus the process itself matures me.” Dr. Melodye Hilton

THE POWER OF EMPATHY

Empathy is a key attribute of Validation Quotient. When you have the emotional skill sets of relating and connecting to the feelings and perceptions of another, you cause others to feel loved, valued, and understood. Without the ability to empathize and communicate value to another, genuine relationships and doors of opportunity will gradually disappear. We must understand, respect, and take responsibility for our words, attitudes, and actions that have the ability to heal and tap into the creative potential of others.

TRUST BUILDERS

In a world where there is an epidemic of mistrust we can choose to become leaders of character with emotional and intellectual competencies that cultivate trust. Our actions truly speak louder than our words; therefore, we can develop the needed skills of task and heart that tear down walls and build a camaraderie protecting relationships, goals, visions, and purposes.
